The story of the behavior of settlers and Indians that your professors won’t tell you: there was no holocaust of the noble real estate brokers, they did not live in harmony with nature but feared it and we must abandon the racist notion of collective racial guilt once and for all. You’ll probably weep when you hear the story of the trail of tears though. Weep about how the Indians practically brought it upon themselves by refusing to take the route by water that the US government practically begged them to take due to ridiculous superstitions. In hindsight it seems more like the trail of stupidity. Definitely refreshing to hear a different side of the story after years of the Disneyfication of the “noble savages” and the evil settlers and the “holocaust” they imposed upon the Indians for no good reason and why we must discard the disgusting idea of racial guilt for crimes committed hundreds of years before we even existed.
